I first got to know Tri in January 2011, when he applied to work as an engineer in my company Vacmobiles.com. This company builds specialized vacuum systems for the manufacture of composites. Tri was able to offer both mechanical engineering design and composites process engineering skills to this business.
“During his time with us, it became clear that Tri has an unusual ability to computer model both physical objects and processes involving thermodynamics, movements of fluids and combinations of these.”
For example, he could simulate how the compression of a mixture of oil and gas in a vacuum pump would distribute pressure over the mechanical components of a vacuum pump. He demonstrated that he could precisely design mechanical solutions that would otherwise take many hours, and considerable cost, to arrive at by trial and error.
“I have complete confidence in Tri’s Finite Element Simulations because they are based on Tri’s deep understanding of the engineering fundamentals – unlike the work of some FEA practitioners whose simulations are really no more than computer games!”
When our export sales were badly affected during the Global Financial Crisis, we were unable to continue our development work and Tri decided to move to Australia to undertake a doctorate study. I continued to use Tri’s skills on a part time basis while he was working on his doctorate. Now that he has decided to make Australia his home and to establish his own business, I will continue to use his services on a remote basis.
Apart from his high level technical skills, at a personal level I have found Tri easy to communicate with, very conscientious and completely committed to doing what he says he will.
If you have a technical problem to solve, I unhesitatingly recommend that you contact Tri.
